These people are not breaking any law, as the milk isn't being sold; the cows belong to the people who are drinking the milk. Nevertheless, pressure is being put on the farmer and the owners of the cows by police under the directions of the Ontario government. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency refuses to name the farms that used the tainted feed. This meat, from 10,000 cattle, will be allowed to go to market. Ah, but not everywhere. It will be tracked so that none of it leaves Canada. We Canadians, under the watchful eye of the federal government, will be allowed to eat this tainted meat. So here's a case where the federal government is not interfering where it should. One level of government interferes in our private lives, and another level hides information about tainted food from the general public. How strangely we are governed.
