How Washington state is planning for H5N1

We've seen a lot of attention recently to flu planning at the state level. Here's an example from just south of here: Pandemic Flu - WA State Dept. of Health. It's a well-designed website with a lot of useful links in both English and Spanish. I've put a link to it in the H5N1 Government Sites list.

I found the site thanks to a story in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer that's also worth reading. Officials are using a one-time lump of money to help plan for a range of disasters, not just avian flu.
